In addition to my life as a Mom and traveling Air Force wife, my passion and "side-gig" is practicing and teaching yoga. My yoga journey began in Columbus, MS where I tried my first yoga class, bought a yoga studio, began and completed my first 200-hour RTT, and sold the studio for a profit before moving to Arkansas. Once in Germany 6 months later, I picked back up teaching on a regular basis at Grace Studio in Ramstein. My passion for yoga continued to grow and I decided to expand my knowledge base by attending another 200-hour YTT in Aruba at Island Yoga, taught by Rachel Brathen and Lara Heimann. This was the experience of a lifetime to say the least. After returning from Aruba, I reduced my weekly yoga classes to private lessons and clients only, in addition to helping start a yoga ministry through my church, Frontline Community. We held free weekly classes for women. During the pandemic, I enjoyed teaching classes live online for friends and family.
