A Fine Weekend in VA
3 years ago we met and befriended the Fines in our then home of Ramstein, Germany. We found this a bit ironic considering 3 of us grew up 30 minutes away from one another and the other just a state over. But God is very creative and allowed our paths to cross when we needed it most. Then he got super creative and allowed us to walk into pregnancy and motherhood together, just 4 months apart. Fast forward 3 years and the Fines have moved to Texas and then 10 months later on to Virginia and we have moved back to Atlanta. Of course we had to take advantage of living so “close” again (and the silly-cheap COVID-times airfares) to visit them!
Brittany, William, and their son, Henry, welcomed us into their (BEAUTIFUL) home for an entire weekend. We ate (delicious, healthy and hearty) meals, laughed (a ton, and not just at our silly little boys), visited a fall farm, did a little DC touring and relaxed by the bonfire, on the couch and outside watching the boys play… making up for the last year of being apart. Here are a few photos from our weekend, I hope you can see why our love cups were overflowing by the time we boarded our plane home. I am ever thankful for them and their friendship.
